And while I believe in blended learning experiences, I know that RELATIONSHIPS are the crux of successful learning that is not intrinsically motivated. It's why I have never bought into the idea of RTI that says, "My child can succeed regardless of the teacher." I do believe that all kids can succeed, but I am perfectly ok with kids succeeding with ANOTHER instructor or even IN SPITE of me if they have to. Sometimes I just won't click. I'll try, but I won't save them all.
