It's so invigorating to share ideas with likeminded individuals. It is empowering and encouraging and reminds me of how much I love what I do. I never anticipated twitter being the aspect of social networking to open these sorts of doors, but I am grateful it has.Alyssa Beckerhttp://twitter.com/lysmekahnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2707703066300530859.post-32468884353679771522010-11-20T16:32:54.063-07:002010-11-20T16:32:54.063-07:00I have been using twitter for two weeks now. I wouldn't have discovered you otherwise.I was a skeptic, and a resister for a long time, but I can't tell you how exciting it has been to find, communicate with, and learn from like minded people.
I'm excited to explore all the possibilities for ways to expand my mind,(and my reach) by using twitter.
Thank you for the opportunity to share, and for the good work you are doing too!
One note for new users of twitter and social media: Your experience can be much enhanced if you take the time to learn a little about how to engage in the use of social media in thoughtful, respectful ways.Lisa Sunburyhttp://www.regardingbaby.orgnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2707703066300530859.post-27465776191777751322010-11-20T09:47:04.962-07:002010-11-20T09:47:04.962-07:00Totally agree. I feel educated everyday by the ideas, articles and sharing I receive from this group of people. Extremely helpful especially when one is going against the main stream.

Nice following you, it's good to see there are people on the 'inside' making change happen!Samhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02290297528911495044noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2707703066300530859.post-17738420692826438522010-11-20T09:39:20.957-07:002010-11-20T09:39:20.957-07:00Hi Joe,

Like you I agree that social networks have connected to me to people and ideas that I never would have encountered with them, but how do you think young people are or are not using these same tools? How can we, or should we be guiding them to the best use of these tools?

Would love your take over at my blog. Thanks:

http://www.jabizraisdana.com/blog/2010/11/353/Jabiz Raisdana (Intrepid Teacher)http://www.jabizraisdana.comnoreply@blogger.com
