I think I am going to cry...a student should only be given this test for 3 hours maximum; she should not be required to work on it for the entire day.
This has nothing to do with the learning needs of Angela, and this is a frightening example of an education system based on standardized testing.
I feel a great deal of empathy for students and teachers in the USA; particularly the struggling students that need to be supported, where standardized testing will not demonstrate what their particular needs are except that they are not at the same level as others.
There is no way Angela will ever love learning if all she can focus on is passing--she (and her teachers) will never be able to focus on learning!
