The more teachers...

The more teachers allow data to drive their practices...

... the more teachers enslave themselves to their gradebook...

... the more teachers prescribe to reducing learning to numbers...

... the more teachers submit to data miners and policy nobs...

... the more teachers see their job as disseminating content bloated-curriculum...

...the less teachers actually teach and the more they reduce themselves to being taskmasters.

  1. But I found resistance difficult, even as a tenured teacher. Please post more about what to do once you know you are being asked to narrow curriculum and take power from kids.
